Sea Stories is a set of sand molds that give children the ability of storytelling, while incorporating educational elements featuring local BC sealife, and their life cycles. 

Going into the aquarium to research the kelp and the sea life for our design, we discovered something else that extends beyond the actual exhibits themselves, and thats the way children react to the exhibits. They’re excited by anything and everything, and they’re always wanting to show their parents every small detail. It’s adorable. In our project, we want to capture that playfulness. The way we’re going to do that might not be creating something that only adults can interact with, but both children and adults can interact with together, giving the child a playful learning experience, and the adult an even stronger bond with their kid. Who knows, the adult might learn something too.
